Terms & Conditions

Cancellation Policy: Students must provide a 24-hour notice to cancel a lesson. Failure to do so will result in a $50 fee.

Session Postponement: DriveCanada reserves the right to postpone or cancel sessions due to illness, emergencies, weather, or mechanical issues.

Pickup and Drop-off: Complimentary pickups and drop-offs are typically offered within the Guelph area.

Communication: Cancellations and rescheduling must be made via phone or email during office hours.

Liability: DriveCanada is not responsible for any personal belongings left in the training vehicle.

Payment Terms: All fees must be paid in accordance with the specified payment options.

Refunds: All fees are non-refundable once paid. If your your online BDE course started, no refund is possible. A 60% refund is available before private lessons start, given instructor contact details were provided. Refunds take 3-5 business days and incur a $10 fee. All services must be completed within one year, after which no refunds will be given and services will be forfeited.

Conduct: Students are expected to behave respectfully and follow the instructions of their driving instructor at all times.

Course Completion: The BDE course must be completed within one year from the start date. For example, if you enrolled on March 13, 2025, it will expire on March 13, 2026. Failure to complete the program within this period will result in withdrawal, and you will need to re-register and pay again to qualify for an insurance discount.

Substance Policy: Students must not attend lessons under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Instructors Discretion: Instructors may cancel or reschedule on-road sessions due to illness, emergencies, weather, or unexpected issues. Pickups and drop-offs from home are at the instructor’s discretion and not guaranteed.
